Dr. Zachary Lubberts Joins HLTCOE Research Staff

The HLTCOE is delighted to welcome Dr. Zachary Lubberts as our newest research scientist. Dr. Lubberts, jointly appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Math and Statistics at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, is an applied mathematician best known for his work on wavelet analysis and graph analytic techniques. His research interests encompass, statistics on graphs, optimization, and natural language processing. He received his PhD from Johns Hopkins University, where he worked with Youngmi Hur on constructing multidimensional tight wavelet frames using tools from real algebraic geometry.
